Where are my notes stored?
On your iPhone. There is no account and no Dictafy cloud storage.

Why does Dictafy need the microphone?
Only to record notes you start. You can change this in Settings › Privacy & Security › Microphone.

How do I cancel my subscription?
Settings › [your name] › Subscriptions › Dictafy › Cancel Subscription. Cancel at least 24 hours before renewal.

How do I restore purchases?
Open the paywall or Settings in Dictafy and tap “Restore Purchases” while signed in to the same Apple ID.

How do I get a refund?
Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.

The transcript has mistakes.
Speak clearly in a quiet place, keep the phone close, and review before sharing. AI cleanup can help tidy text.

Is my audio sent anywhere?
Only if you use optional cloud features. See the Privacy Policy.
